This memory has a lot and a lot of murder, all assassination jobs carried out with skill and efficiency. Each target was marked for death by Night Raid for readily apparent reasons, usually extreme corruption in some form or another. Sometimes your escape isn't easy, but you're never caught.

There's also lots of sex, not always as a woman but all of it loveless, empty, and only for the sake of the mission. Transformation comes into play as "you" take on whatever guise necessary to fool your target and make them vulnerable. A wife, a husband, an illicit lover or a concubine. It all ends the same way, with your target dead and just a little more self-disgust tacked on to your soul as you make your way back to headquarters.

You tell yourself it doesn't matter, that it never matters. You're fine - you've flipped the switch. This slow calcification of emotion and peeling away of self-esteem is a small price to pay to reform the world.
