" The Jaegers are a recently-created special police squad made to combat Night Raid and curb criminal activity in the Capital at the behest of Emperor Makoto. Led by General Esdese, the unit is solely made up of Teigu users pulled from various departments or divisions in the Empire's military. "

■ GENERAL ESDESE

The "strongest human" in the Empire with a sadistic personality. Wields the Teigu called Demon's Extract, which allows her to manipulate ice.

■ BORS

A former member of the Incineration Squad who carried out the executions of entire villages by way of burning them to ashes. Wields the flamethrower-type Teigu called Rubicante.

■ DR. STYLISH

A man of incredible intellect and absolutely zero moral qualms; a classic mad scientist with a flair for the dramatic. Wields the Teigu called Perfector.

■ KUROME

The younger sister of Night Raid's Akame. Routinely eats drug-infused snacks in order to function. Wields the Teigu called Yatsufusa, or "March of the Dead".

■ SERYUU

A young woman from the Imperial Police force. Owner and wielder of the biological Teigu, Hekatonkheires.

■ RAN

A man with mysterious motives. Wields the Teigu called "Mastema".

■ WAVE

An idealistic young man from the Imperial Navy. Wields the Teigu called "Grand Chariot", a Teigu modeled after Incursio.
